Rosh Hashanah 2017 Celebrating the Beginning and End of All Things

Rosh Hashanah is the Jewish New Year. The last day of Elul is their New Year’s Eve and the 1st day of Tishrei is their New Year’s Day.  It is night there now and they are in their New Year Day.

What day is that? Well at sundown the year 5777 ended and today is the beginning of the 5778.  Those numbers may not be as important to us as to our Father in Heaven.

Five is the number of Grace. So we are and have been in the millennium of Grace a long time.  We are in the 8th century of the 5th millennium and the 80th decade. Now, we moved from the 7th to the 8th year of this decade, century, and millennium.

The number 7 is the number of completion to God. Eight is the number of New Beginnings!

As I’ve been with Believers for the last few years, we have become increasingly excited that the LORD is coming soon. This high Holy day in Jerusalem is with even greater anticipation than 2016.

We are observing the fig tree….
