Think on These Things…Selah!

**THINK ON THESE THINGS…SELAH!  1a

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh.  For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds,  casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,  and being ready to punish all disobedience when our obedience is fulfilled. (2 Corinthians 10:3-6  NKJV)

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—we meditate on these things. (Philippians 4:8)

Jesus said, “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’  For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.  Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for each day is its own trouble.” (Matthew 6:31-34)

Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. (Jeremiah 33:3)

Roll your works upon the Lord…commit and trust them wholly to Him; He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and so shall your plans be established and succeed. (Proverbs 16:3)

We  do all things without complaining and disputing,  that we may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom we shine as lights in the world, holding fast the word of life, so that we may rejoice in the day of Christ that we have not run in vain or labored in vain. (Philippians 2:14-16)

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,  gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.  And we who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.  If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.  Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another. (Galatians 5:22-26)

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. (John 3:16-17)

 The Word is near us in our mouths and in our hearts (that is, the word of faith which we preach):  that if we confess with our mouths the LORD Jesus and we believe in our hearts that God raised Him from the dead, we will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Romans 10:8b-10)

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us of all unrighteousness. (1 John 1: 9)

And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease. And He said to them, “As you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give. (Matthew 10:1, 7-8) Again Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.  Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father and the Name of the Son and the Name of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. (Matthew 28:18-20)

Because we diligently heed the voice of the Lord our God and we do what is right in His sight…Because we  give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes…HE  will put none of the diseases on us which HE brought on the Egyptians. For HE is the LORD who heals you.” (Exodus 15: 26)

 Thus says the Lord who created you O Jacob,
And He who formed you O Israel:
“Fear not, for I have redeemed you;
I have called you by your name;
You are Mine.
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you.
When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned,
Nor shall the flame scorch you.  For I am the Lord your God,
The Holy One of Israel (Qedosh Yisrael), your Savior (Yasha) (Isaiah 43:1-3a)

 Is anyone among us suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing psalms.  Is anyone among us sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.  And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. We confess our trespasses to one another and we pray for one another, that we may be healed.

The earnest, heartfelt, continued prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available, dynamic in its working.  (AMPC)  Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months.  And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit. (James 5: 13-18)

Jesus prayed for us:  My prayer is not for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.  And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one:  I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.”

 “Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.  O righteous Father! The world has not known You, but I have known You; and these have known that You sent Me.  And I have declared to them Your Nameand will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.” (John 17: 20-27)

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh.  For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds,  casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,  and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled. (2 Corinthians 10:3-6)

Your Name O LORD is a strong tower! We run into it and are safe. (Proverbs 18:10)

For You LORD know the plans You have for us. They are plans for good and not evil, to give us a future and a hope. (Jeremiah 29: 11)

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (Hebrews 11: 1) So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. (Romans 10: 17)

We count it all joy when we fall into various trials,  knowing that the testing of our faith produces patience. But we let patience have its perfect work, that we may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.  If any of us lacks wisdom, we ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to us.  But let us ask in faith, with no doubting, for if we doubt, we are like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.  For if we doubt we are double-minded and unstable in all our ways and will not receive anything from the LORD.  (James 1:1-8) Without Faith it is impossible to please God. (Hebrews 11:6)

Having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,  through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.  And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance;  and perseverance, character; and character, hope.  Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us. (Romans 5:1-5)

Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up;  does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil;  does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;  bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away.  And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love. (1 Corinthians 13:4-8, 13 )

 For this reason we bow our knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,  that He would grant us, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man,  that Christ may dwell in our hearts through faith; that we, being rooted and grounded in love,  may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height—  to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that we may be filled with all the fullness of God.    Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,  to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen. (Ephesians 3:14-21)

(2 Corinthians 10:3-6)

And may the Lord make us increase and abound in love to one another and to all,  so that He may establish our hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints. (1 Thessalonians 3: 12-13)

But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit,  keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. (Jude 20-21)

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love. (Galatians 5:6)

We rejoice always praying without ceasing and in everything we give thanks! For this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for us! (1 Thessalonians 5: 16-18)

We rejoice in the Lord always. Again we will say, rejoice! Let our gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. We are anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, we let our requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guards our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:4-7)

Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him. (1 John 5: 14-15)

We who have His commandments and keep them, it is us who love Him. And we who love Him  will  be loved by Our Father, and He will love us and manifest Himself to us.” If we love Him, we will keep His word; and our Father will love us and He will come to us and make His home with us. Those who do not love Him do not keep His words and the word which we hear is not from Jesus alone but from God the Father who sent Him. (John 14: 21, 23-24)
