LORD we lift up India where we placed our feet in 2013. Sent by You LORD knowing that You told us to ask for the nations and that India situated in the center of the 10/40 window where islam has been working hard to take over the world…islamization.
The same strength that has kept India from converting to Christianity also was protecting India from being conquered by islamization. Though Apostle Thomas is believed to have reached India almost 2000 years ago, there is still only 2.3% Christians among the 1.34 billion population.
Many of those won to Christ are dalits or untouchables. Almost all have the background of hinduism which is a pantheistic religion. Jesus and the parables and even baptism did not threaten the pantheistic religion. Hindus believing they have more than Christianity as Jesus just becomes one of their many gods.
Father, we bind that stronghold pantheism! Like Moses spoke to Pharoah we speak to pantheism and say “Let them go!!” We speak to the many gods on the pantheon wheel of hinduism and we say fall in Jesus’ Name! We speak to the wheel of reincarnation and we declare no more nirvana in Jesus’ Name. Amen and Amen.
LORD we thank You for our part to redeem India. Thank You for Asha and her vision as she cried out for You send women skilled in prayer to India to teach the women how to pray. Thank You for sending us to India to place our feet for India and for the 10/40 window…we know now to be from 40 degree N to 40 degree S latitude in this earth. Like Joshua You have said wherever we place our feet we claim in Jesus’ Name! Your Kingdom Come LORD! Your Will be done!
Though India speak of “Freedom of Religion” laws they actually limit individuals to change their faith and they limit Christians from sharing their faith. As hard-line hindu nationalists believe each Indian is to be hindu and they do not tolerate other faiths, we declare the nationalists have no power to harm Believers. We say NO to beatings! No to killings! No to bombings! No to torchings! No to vandalism! No to demolishing of churches and Christian schools! No to disruption of services and prayer meetings!
Father we pray Psalm 91 over all of Women Who Pray International Church in India.
Gujurath, Telangana, and Odissa are states that we have reached with the prayer blanket and they have faced persecution. We thank You for reaching all the hindu and the islam among the hindu throughout India in Jesus’ Name. Amen and Amen.
Lord, we stand with Asha praying for Indian believers who experience both violent persecution and intense cultural pressure to return to Hinduism. We thank You LORD for empowering these Believers as they are constantly pressured and sometimes attacked, efforts trying to force them to return to their previous hindu beliefs. We pray divine protection from You LORD as they actively evangelize the villages, forests, states…every nook and cranny. Thank You that they fly under the radar, unrecognized by the authorities.
We pray peace and comfort for the pastor and his family who showed the Jesus Film in 2017 as they are now going on with their lives after their home being burned. We pray that same peace and comfort for the 6 pastors who were arrested in Salempur in Utar Pradesh.
LORD we pray for Christian converts from Hinduism who are forcefully being pressured to return to Hinduism.
We pray with Christians in India for God’s provision and protection over them as they boldly evangelize in states with anti-conversion laws. We pray that they will be wise in their evangelism efforts.
LORD we pray for Christian girls placed under house arrest by their families because of their faith. We ask You, Father God to encourage them in their faith and we pray that their families would come to know the Lord.
We pray open heavens over our ministers throughout India and the 10/40 window. We praise You LORD for the angelic covering we are encased in in Jesus’ Name.
Thank You LORD for divine protection and provision for every widow and every orphan involved with our ministry…in Jesus’ Name. You LORD …Jehovah Jireh…are our provider
