A Holy Nation December 4, 2012

I know you might be thinking that I’m referring to a nation that we know…

We pray, 2 Chronicles 7: 14: If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then, I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

We salute our flag, and we refer to America, we say, …one nation under God.

Today, while praying for Israel, and adding some new Psalms that we’ve been asked to pray with our Jewish brethren…it all just seemed to be jumping off the page.

We pray that we are the children of Abraham…we pray that David is our Captain…praying the Word daily quickens the Word…makes it alive and moving and going strong…

So aware of who I am today!! I’m not just Teddi Holt…a Christian…who says my prayers at night before bed…or occasionally when I have time.

Training in praying the Word had made it possible to pray more of the Word every day. It is just sooo amazing….

We began praying Isaiah 52, 53, 54, 55 about 8 years ago. We have added Isaiah 35, 59:20, about 1/2 of 60, and the 1st few verses of 61, and all of 62. We pray a Psalm of the day, as well as Psalm 18, 20, 33,91, 100, 112, 8 verses of 119, 121, 122, 128, 130, 133; John 14: 21, 23 & 24, and Galatians 2:20.

We pray those chapters but much more in the Prayer Blanket opening and the Stormie Omartian’s and Beth Alves’ books. We are truly demolishing strongholds everyday.

Today, after all was said and done, the LORD just spoken into my spirit…

We are a nation…we are not many nations…we the Church…the Bride of Christ…are a nation!!

This nation is made up of all the peoples of the earth who serve the ONE TRUE GOD!! JESUS is our LORD and Savior. He is King of Kings!!! He is LORD of Lords!!!!!

We are crucified with Christ…we no longer live…JESUS CHRIST lives in us!!!

The LORD let me see our nation…we’re of all the races…all nations…both genders…all ages…

This Kingdom…this nation that we are…is ruled by King Jesus!!

Discipling the nations…teaching them to observe what we’ve been commanded…

The first fruit of many brethren…

All this Word began to come up inside me…

As I shared with my prayer partner for oh soooo many years…a warrior that I have prayed with every day for going on 10 years…she heard the words of a song …we are a holy nation…

The words are listed below, but we weren’t able to find the tune she was singing…
